CoGen is a specialist developer of Advanced Conversion Technology (ACT) projects and is set to deliver a facility at one of the first Protos plots.

CoGen has developed a number of ACT plants around the UK including facilities at Plymouth, Stoke, Derby, Birmingham and Northampton. CoGen won the 2013 National Recycling Awards for the Best Energy from Waste Initiative. With a strong pipeline of projects going forwards CoGen is the leading developer of ACT projects within the UK.


Involvement at Protos:

CoGens Project company, Ince Bio Power is amongst the first tenants at Protos and is constructing facilities on two of the site plots. The company is developing a biomass power generation facility at the site that will provide a 21.5MW of renewable energy for the region.
